Welcome to WORR Metal Fabrication, a trusted name in engineering and metal fabrication with a proud heritage dating back over 65 years. Our journey began with two well-established North East businesses—William Oliver (North Shields) Limited, founded in 1955, and Rodman & Russell Fabrication & Engineering, which opened in the early 1960s. These two respected companies merged in 2006, forming William Oliver & Rodman Russell Ltd (WORR Ltd), combining decades of expertise to create a powerhouse in the metal fabrication industry.

Since 1955, we have been based in Little Bedford Street, North Shields, and while our facilities have evolved, we remain committed to innovation and excellence at the heart of our operations.

A New Era for WORR

In 2019, WORR Ltd entered an exciting new chapter when it was acquired by the Hoyle Family. Following some challenging years, the company underwent significant transformation. In 2021, James and Ashleigh English took over the leadership of WORR, bringing fresh energy, expertise, and a clear 10-year growth plan designed to secure a thriving and sustainable future for the business.
